Mission Statement:

RAP exists to serve the interest of the recovery community.

Philosophy:

The strength and experience of people in recovery, and those affected by addiction and alcoholism, foster the foundation and growth of this organization by building relationships with each other and creating alliances with other community organizations.

By empowering individuals in recovery, we promote their growth as individuals and reintegration into the community.

We use the following tools to accomplish our goals:

  • Maintaining an organization of recovering people representing the needs, aspirations and ideas of those in recovery.
  • Providing community based services for those in recovery including housing and mentoring.
  • Leadership training and gift development of recovering individuals.
  • Communication with the greater community as to the needs of recovering individuals and their families.
  • Providing education and information to those who provide services to recovering individuals and their families.
