RAP's Recovery Center

RAP Centers are RUN by people in recovery FOR people in recovery.

RAP’s Portland Recovery Center offers peer support to people recovering from substance abuse, one-on-one life and job coaching, Resource Rooms, the Internet, phones, fax & copy machines, info, events, meetings, classes, activities, employment training & places to gather, like the Portland RAP Cafe, all operated by people in recovery. 
 
Recovery Center classes and resource coaching are available at 2
locations.

Portland Recovery Center:

Office and Resource Room hours: 9-5 PM Monday-Friday.

Mid-Valley Drop-In Center:

1115 Madison St. NE #222, Salem, OR 97301  (503) 393-4273

        10:00am - 7:00pm Monday - Saturday.

The Recovery Association Project seeks to:

  • Educate and develop leadership among people in recovery.
  • Develop an independent organization of recovering people that can represent the needs, aspirations and ideas of consumers of recovery services.
  • Communicate to the public the need for access to timely, effective, quality treatment services and to educate the community regarding the success and hope of recovery.
  • Provide information and direction to specific public policies, managed care systems, chemical dependency treatment services and prevention efforts that affect lives of recovering individuals and their families.
  • Empower recovering people in an organized manner to effectively voice their needs and the needs of those who are still abusing substances.
  • Run RAP’s Recovery College by people in recovery for people in recovery, including classes, courses, activities, events, activism, tutors and coaches.
